Abstract

The article examines the development of clusters and territorial-production entities during the Soviet period and the present time. Defined the essence, the concept and function of the party, improving the efficiency of the regional socio-economic development. Address the special forms of the development of the party in the form of scientific and industrial complexes and technological parks. A comparative analysis of the functioning of the WPK and industrial clusters. Determined the ability of the cluster to meet the requirements of a market economy for the territorial development through the introduction of mechanisms of state-private partnership to develop cross-border cooperation, maintain competitive relations among the participants and forming cooperative links between them, contributing to the growth of international competitiveness of countries.
