Assessment of competitiveness of mechanical engineering of Ukraine in terms of export potential of the industry.

Abstract

This article analyzes the use of export potential of Ukraine engineering. Provide a rationale for assessing the level of competitiveness of the sector on the basis of export potential. Named the reasons that lead to the high dependence of Ukrainian exports of engineering products from external market conditions and the lack of competitiveness of Ukrainian goods. Analyzed foreign trade of Ukraine in recent years. Shows the countries - major trade partners of Ukraine. Specified sub-sectors of mechanical engineering, who are developing dynamically and which hinder the development of the industry. The main problems of the engineering industry, and provides some recommendations to address them. Lists a number of priority actions of the industry, as well as countries with which cooperation will give the best effect for the Ukrainian machine-building.
