Abstract

In article types and the directions, and also concept of a benchmarking as marketing tool, its purpose and the main stages of carrying out are considered. Features of a benchmarking of transport enterprise are revealed and systematized. Rules of carrying out the analysis of the superiority which observance can raise the firm to new level are described, alongside with the best enterprises for the rendering transport services. The history of development of a benchmarking, as a science is considered. The factors influencing to positive results from innovations in the course of carrying out a benchmarking at transport enterprise were defined. The principles of a benchmarking of transport enterprise are characterized. Also the problems arising at collection of information for the comparative analysis of the superiority on characteristics of the enterprise and the leading enterprises in this branch were revealed. Expediency of carrying out a benchmarking in transport branch, as instrument of market research in the conditions of the rigid competition in the market of transport services is proved.
