Abstract
The article considers the trends of forming points of the growth industry of Ukraine with the introduction of high-tech industries. Determined dependence on commodity exports and the need to develop high-tech industries. Considered the world experience of introduction of high technologies at the expense of venture entrepreneurship. A comparative analysis of competitive advantages of Ukraine with the possibility of implementation of the innovation strategy scientifically oriented engineering. Substantiated are the directions of formation of the international competitiveness of Ukraine in the context of innovative development of the Euroregion «Donbass» in the example of creating cross-border cluster coal machine building.
