Trends of power efficiency projects’ realization.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of effective power usage in the conditions of the traditional energy carriers’ resource depletion, growth of prices and the dependence of Ukrainian economy on import of natural gas. The analysis of inculcation’s trends of investment projects aimed at the efficient usage of traditional energy carriers and development of alternative energy sources was made. The advantages of energy-saving projects and the projects in the field of renewable energy were economically proved. The potential of Ukraine in energy saving for the future was considered. The main objectives of the state in the sphere of power efficiency were defined. On the basis of the successful experience of developed countries forms of financial support of the projects aimed at improving the power efficiency of the economy of Ukraine to ensure its energy security were proposed. The measures for the development of market environment and general improvement of the quality of goods, works and services which could help to attract off-budget funds for financing measures for energy saving and power efficiency were developed.
