Asymmetric information: its nature and forms.

The article concentrated on the nature and the forms of asymmetric information revision. It is concluded that it could arise in different markets, including insurance, labor, credit markets. It was noticed that there were several differences in informational asymmetry display in those markets, which makes it necessary to proceed with the research work in this field. On the other hand, presence of some similar characteristics makes it important to study the problem in all of the markets simultaneously. This paper also presented a description of the key notions that are important for the following problem studying, such as moral hazard, adverse selection, credit rationing, etc. The paper analyses theoretical and empirical research works carried out by Ukrainian and foreign scientists, where some differences in conclusions were discovered so that the importance of further research in this area was made clear.References
