As to the question of the regions` commercial diplomacy.

Abstract

The questions of expanding the commercial diplomacy tools to solve the problem of providing regional development are considered. In fact of the world economy regionalization the objective and subjective conditions of powers redistribution between the state and the regions are formed. This trend is creating a new level of international cooperation. Commercial diplomacy that emerged in the mainstream of economic diplomacy in the middle of the XX century, has a specific tool that allows regions to effectively position itself in the external geo-economic space. The tasks of commercial diplomacy in promoting national business in the global market are highlighted. The analysis of the prospects for such an institution as the regional development agencies for the case of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova – member-countries of the EU "Eastern Partnership" programme is made. The features of the national regional development programs, the positive and negative impact of the regional development agencies` functioning, created on the initiative of the EU, are identified.
