Development of the Ukrainian banking sector under economic uncertainty

Abstract

The article analyzes the further development of the domestic banking sector in the face of economic uncertainty. The effect of negative and positive events taking place in the global financial market, the functioning of the banking sector in Ukraine. The main risks of the banking system of Ukraine and ways to overcome them, as well as the trend of the credit enhancement of domestic tanks. It is proved that the major risks to the banking sector in Ukraine are: poor quality of bank business assets and reduce their liquidity, low level of confidence in banks by domestic and foreign legal entities and individuals; vulnerability of the banking system in relation to monetary policy in the country, the tendency of the banking systems of Ukraine to the operational and regulatory risk as a result of the imperfect, the changing legal and regulatory framework.
